In thee, O Lord, have I put my trust

This is a live recording of In thee, O Lord, have I put my trust by Oliver Morrell. It was performed at St Pancras Parish Church on Monday 11 May 2015 by The Choir of St Pancras Parish Church directed by Christopher Batchelor.

Oliver Morrell was the youngest composer to have his work performed at the 2015 Festival; he was aged 15 at the time. He has a keen interest in composing and his works have been performed by the Choir of the Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy where he was a chorister for five years (and subsequently Head Chorister). He also participates in many choral-based activities at St Olave’s Grammar School in Orpington, including conducting the School’s Chapel Choir and organising his own ensemble dedicated to performing Renaissance choral music. Oliver is also an accomplished flautist, pianist and organist.

Antony Pitts[This is] a unique festival which enriches the life and heritage of the Church in this country – both with its annual feast of liturgical performances and by commissioning new treasures for the generations to come.
