Alexander Ling Alexander Edward Ling is a composer and pianist. Recent and upcoming performances include Music of the Heart and Home, a solo piano recital at St John the Baptist Church in Catford; Celestial Light, piano and electronics; Three Places Called Home, the Orchestra of Opera North; Erik Satie’s Memoirs of an Amnesiac, chamber orchestra and tenor (composed by Samuel Pradalie). Alexander’s experience as an orchestrator and arranger has seen him work alongside Terry Davies, Laura Jurd, Ben Corrigan, Robert Ames, the London Contemporary Orchestra, and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures to name a few. Alexander also runs the Orpington Music Studio which provides outstanding one-to-one music tuition to students living in Orpington and nearby areas.
