Daniel Knaggs

Composer

Daniel Knaggs is a concert composer creating vocal and instrumental music ranging from solo and chamber to orchestral works. In 2019 alone, his music has been performed in Japan, Australia, Israel, Scotland, England, Germany, Italy, and throughout the USA. His works have been awarded and commissioned regularly throughout the world and they are published by Edition Peters, Walton, GIA, Hal Leonard, Cadenza (UK), and Morcelliana (Italy). His recent commissions include works for the Choir of Trinity College Cambridge (UK), Kinetic Ensemble, Wells Cathedral Choir (UK), the Yale Norfolk Festival, and a major work commissioned for the 2020 Musica Vera Festival in Torun, Poland. Knaggs received his doctorate in Composition from Rice University (2017) and now serves as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Composition and Theory at the College of Wooster, Ohio.
