Jonathan Millican has been involved in cathedral music for over 30 years. He began as a chorister at Carlisle Cathedral in 1989 under Andrew Seivewright and Jeremy Suter and is currently the senior bass lay clerk under Mark Duthie. He directs the Cathedral Voluntary choir and The Abbey Singers as well as various other groups and projects around the Carlisle area, and is a volunteer member of the RSCM in the North. Known mostly for this work as a Tenor or Bass soloist around the North of England, his compositions are becoming more and more popular in his home county of Cumbria and indeed north of the border in South Scotland.
