8:00pm, Saturday 18 MayEvening ConcertThe first UK performance of Gregory Rose’s “Danse Macabre”, a work inspired by the picture “Danse Macabre” by the medieval German artist Bernt Notke, currently displayed in St Nicholas Church in Tallinn, a series of representations of Death variously taunting the Pope, Emperor, Empress, Cardinal, King, and Bishop. The chorus sings the complete Latin Requiem.
